Hi everyone! I am spending my Easter weekend in Key West with my family, and wanted to share this vacation-ready outfit! Blue and white stripes……shocking I know….. But I love this casual look for roaming around town or a casual dinner/lunch! I wanted to get something out to you all before Easter Sunday, because I will be kicking it casual on my Key West Easter- I’ll be sure to share on Instagram, so make sure you are following along!
I hope you are all having an amazing Easter weekend with your loved ones. Easter is one of my all-time favorite holidays, and it’s not just because it gives me an excuse to buy a new outfit. Easter is the celebration of life, which may seem weird because we are celebrating someone who died, but Resurrection Sunday is like our birthday- the day Jesus rose from the dead to show that nothing and no one could defeat him, bringing us back to life with him. If you are feeling like your life has gotten dull, and you can’t find that light anymore, you may be missing out on the life changing power of Jesus Christ in your life. He died for you. Isn’t that crazy? Out of all the people in the world, He chose you to be His. I don’t know about you, but that makes me feel more loved than any earthly being could ever show me. He went through immense pain, torture, and separation from His father and took every last bad thought, bad intention, and sin in general, on His shoulders because He loves you so much that He couldn’t stand the thought of watching you go through something like that- and all you have to do is love Him back. It’s that simple. If you have any questions about my faith, I invite you to email me (savannah@theplainjayne.com) or even DM me on Instagram! I love talking about Jesus, and would be happy to share more. I also invite you, if you live in Miami and don’t have a church to call home, to visit Christ Fellowship (that link will take you to service times) tomorrow morning to learn more about who Jesus is and why He did what He did. He loves you so much and gave the ultimate sacrifice just to know you, what are you going to do in response?
God bless, and Happy Easter!
xoxo,
Savannah Jayne
