When I say pink is my favorite color, it is no lie. When I say pink is my favorite neutral, that is another thing I’m not lying about. While many don’t see it the same way, I view certain shades of pink in the neutral category. I don’t mind splurging on pink shoes or pink bags and even more expensive pink clothing. When you find the right shade of pink, it really can go with anything.
This sweater has gotten it’s fair share of use these past few seasons. I wore it all throughout the fall and have continued to wear it into the winter. I linked it and a ton of similar styles in the slider below.
Alright, now it’s time for honesty hour. I gotta tell you, I have been sitting on this post for months. I shot this in October before I even got engaged. With the wedding planning and working full-time, my blog has really been pushed to the sidelines. I spend so much time on the computer at work, that when I get home it’s the last thing I want to look at. My weekends are eaten up by wedding planning and now apartment hunting. It’s been so tough to find time and the motivation to actually sit down and write, or make time to take outfit photos.
I promise I haven’t forgotten about The Plain Jayne, and I could never abandon something I love so much. With the new year, I am making it a point to blog more and to be more on top of my game. Once the wedding planning is over and I’m a Mrs. (woah, that’s weird…), I will have more free time to pursue this the way I want to. Hey, I’ll even have an Instagram Hubs with me all the time – haha!
Wedding planning is no joke y’all, but it has begun to die down a little now that we are getting a little closer to the date (any guesses on when it will be?!).
Thank you for sticking by me throughout this busy and stressful time. I am not abandoning this. I’m just taking a little longer to get down to business than normal.
